LOST DOG CALLI

| Posted in Uncategorized |

0

Our dog ran off on Sunday night. Details are not clear as we weren’t here when it happened. Please, if you have a moment, print out this flyer and post it where you work and where you live. I’ve been told that dogs can travel up to five miles a day. At this rate she could be in New Jersey by now, or approaching the Delaware border.

Keep your fingers crossed!

Thanks

Agnes and Matty

ALICE LOST!

She is a 6 year-old reddish brown pit bull who got out of our front door this past
Friday evening in Fishtown, on the 1400 block of N Hancock (near El
Bar). She was wearing a red/blue collar and a red bandanna, but who
knows if those are still on her. She has a circular scar on the top
of her head, droopy ears, a long tail, a white splotch on her chest,
and very pronounced nipples. Her name is Alice and she is very
friendly and non-aggressive with strangers so she should respond to
her name. Any help/info can be sent to this email address, or people
can call Sue at 215.868.5908, or Adam at 617.852.5911.

Humpty on the Road to Recovery

Humpty is looking fabulous, he will be ready for adoption & his forever home in about a month.

Pictures are worth a thousand words, so I will let you all gaze in amazement at his AFTER photos. All I can say is WOW!!!!

NEW HUMPTY PHOTOS ARE HERE: http://www.flickr.com/photos/46742915@N08/sets/72157623342219417/

Dr. Fly is a miracle worker, look at how great he looks. His bad is a tad bit droopy, but other than that you can hardly tell. Once all his hair grows back you will never know.

We are starting the search for Humpty’s FURever PRRfect home. This will need to be a non-smoking home, preferable no other pets. Although Humpty gets along great with other dogs, and so wants to rough house and play, he will need to live in a home where he won’t risk injury and bump his head. He will be highly suseptable to sinus infections that could lead to brain or upper respiratory so he needs a sterile clean home where he can be pampered and doted on for the rest of his life.

Email me at rguidara@earthlink.net if you are interested in adopting Humpty.

Here are the puppies in the shelter in NC.

Wait until you all see the puppies that will soon be available for adoption through Oporation Ava! They were born on February 1, 2010. There are 6 boys and 1 girl, poor thing stuck with all of those boys. They are an adorable mix of shepherd and boxer. The momma dog’s owner did not want them. So, shortly after they were born, they were dropped off at Animal Care Services in Greeneville, NC, a shelter with one of the shortest holding periods on the eastern seaboard. There they were wormed and examined and given their first puppy shots. They were pulled right before their last day in the shelter by Help Save One rescue and taken to Rhode Island for foster care. The very next week, the foster home was flooded.

Oporation Ava previously worked with Help Save One when they needed help feeding their rescued pups, so we donated food so they could all eat. Oporation Ava offered to foster and care for these 7 puppies until their adoption here in PA. In the very very early morning hours of April 22, 2010, they came to us and got cleaned up and some much needed rest. This afternoon they are moving to Doggie Style’s Passyunk store where they will get to play in the old doggie daycare area. Next week on they will receive more shots and have another deworming. Three are already neutered. The rest will be done in the next 2 weeks.

After all of their vetting is done, they will be available for adoption to great new homes. The adoption donation is $300 which covers rescue, transport, food, foster, veterinary care, including spaying and neutering, and microchipping. Any funds left will be used to help rescue more dogs and cats and help pay for life saving surgeries for sick dogs and cats.

Come to to the store at 1700 E. Passyunk to meet them and see them play. Come back here soon to see the individual pups and their new pictures and profiles!

Doggie Style and Oporation AVA to the “rescue”. Doggie Style and Oporation Ava donated a truckload of dog food to Help Save One Rescue. The rescue was recently flooded out and lost all their food. Thanks to our Oporation Ava rescue program, we were notified of this terrible situation and were able to provide much needed food to the rescue animals in need of a new home.
